What we built
TovenAI’s agents analyze activity across existing communications and trading systems using each firm’s policies, procedures, and applicable regulations as context, assembling the relevant evidence for compliance teams.
Our trade-reconstruction agent rebuilds the full sequence of a trade, links every event to its source evidence, and reduces the process from around four hours to minutes. Our electronic-communications surveillance agent reduces the false-positive burden by 3× and, in a head-to-head evaluation, delivered roughly 7× more value per alert reviewed than the market-leading incumbent.
Our platform supports several other compliance workflows, giving teams broader coverage with less manual work.
With prebuilt integrations to more than 30 systems – including Bloomberg, Cloud9, CME and NICE Actimize – firms can evaluate TovenAI on their own data in under a week without replacing their existing stack.
Why us
We met eight years ago at Stanford. Batu later worked as a quantitative research engineer at Citadel Global Quantitative Strategies, building AI systems for quantitative research. Sam was a machine learning engineer at Meta, working on its ads recommendation systems.
We work closely with our customers and sit besides compliance officers every day. This gives us a rapid feedback loop, lets us see their workflows firsthand, and allows us to redesign compliance operations with AI at their core.
Sam’s mother spent her 15-year career in risk and compliance and was our first sounding board as we began exploring the space.
