Hey everyone 👋 We're Marinos and Hudson, co-founders of Prized.
TL;DR: Prized gives developers a dedicated devbox in the cloud that still feels local. Your files stay synced to a real folder, ports show up on localhost, and coding agents keep running when you close your laptop.

The problem
Coding agents can work for hours now. But only if you keep your laptop open.
You start a refactor, a migration, or a big build. Then you need to leave. Close the lid and the agent dies with it.
You can move everything to a VM, but now you're doing remote dev. Your files live somewhere else. Your ports need forwarding. Your terminal disappears when the connection drops.
Remote development still feels remote.
it shouldn't…
The solution
With Prized, one command puts your project on a dedicated devbox without giving up local development:
Real files on your Mac. Prized syncs both ways into a normal folder, so everything keeps working the way it already does.
Localhost** stays localhost**. Servers running on the box appear on your Mac automatically, including loopback-only services and hot reload.
Sessions stay alive. SSH lands in a persistent terminal session on the box, so disconnecting or closing your laptop doesn't stop the work.
Compute grows with the task. Resize the box without rebuilding your environment or moving your project again.
Secrets stay out of the agent's hands. For brokered secrets, the agent only sees a placeholder.
The team
We worked together at Gander (F24) building fleet management software for private jets. After the company's acquisition by Archer Aviation (NYSE: ACHR), Marinos continued school at Stanford, and Hudson went on to be an engineer at Suno.
We built Prized for ourselves after getting tired of having to keep our laptops cracked open all the time. A raw VM kept the process alive but gave up the local workflow we actually wanted.
