We're building robots that pick strawberries.
California strawberries are a $3B industry. ~60% of that is labor cost — and that cost keeps climbing while the workforce shrinks. Growers are losing harvests they can't afford to pick. We’re working with California’s largest strawberry producers to solve this problem.
We send robots into the field to pick the fruit. Lower cost per pound, higher yield per acre, and software that finally replaces tools the industry has been running on for 40 years.
Robots just hit the crossover point with field labor. Strawberries are the wedge. Berries are $15B. Every other outdoor task — row crops, manufacturing lines, defense, anywhere robots have to actually show up and work — runs on the same deployment layer.
Synphony (YC W26). If you grow berries, invest in robotics, or want to build robots that do real work outdoors, let's talk.
