Hey YC, we're Rishab Jain and Aditya Jain, MD.
Today, we’re announcing Prescience 🔮: health insurance for the age of abundant intelligence. Prescience is taking on United, Blue Cross, and every other incumbent to build the first health insurance company that doesn’t suck.
TL;DR - Prescience is a health insurance solution built for a world with AGI. We help cut premiums by 20%, offer $0 deductibles, include GLP-1s and other modern medicines, and have no hidden fees: we’re only paid when we save you money. We’re already helping some of America’s most ambitious companies save money, provide better benefits, and keep employees healthy so they can focus on their business. www.getprescience.com

The Problem
Healthcare is a $6 trillion industry in America. For most companies it's the second-highest line item on their P&L, with costs rising about 15% every single year.
Employers keep paying more and getting less. Deductibles climb and the best benefits get cut. Even employees with "good" insurance still end up with denied claims, surprise bills, and debt.
Nothing changes because the entire industry is built to take a cut of your premium. When care gets more expensive, all of the middlemen make more money. They couldn’t care less if your people get more healthy.
Our Solution
Prescience is an AI-native health insurance that flips the incentive. Get a quote without speaking to middlemen, and get better health benefits at lower cost. That adds up to roughly 20% lower premiums, and better-than-platinum health benefits like $0 deductibles, no middlemen, no fees. For YC companies, we have a Deal running with Free Wearables and GLP-1s covered.
Here's how we deliver. Time Machine is our reinforcement learning system trained on medical histories. The same way AlphaGo found "Move 37," a move no human would have played that turned out to be brilliant, Time Machine searches millions of possible health trajectories for each member and finds the non-obvious path that keeps them healthiest. Then it steers care toward that path: the right screening at the right moment, the right behavior, before a small issue ever becomes a hospital bill. We’re running a separate waitlist for YC companies who want to try Time Machine for personal use: http://getprescience.com/time-machine-waitlist
Time Machine is paired with Crystal: our care navigation assistant in your pocket. As an MD, I’ve seen how patients struggle to manage the labyrinth of healthcare. Hours of phone calls and wait times. Pouring through confusion insurance documents. No more - Crystal can book visits for you, answer questions about your health, and pay your bills.
Instead of today’s health insurance experience that forces employers to talk to brokers for weeks just to get covered, employers on Prescience get a quote in days and a plan that automatically tracks savings and does filings. We don’t just sit around and collect money from premiums, but actually try to make your employees healthy.
We are a real, full-stack solution. We’ve built out and partnered to deliver quotes, banking, HSA, MSO-PC, legal, compliance, network, risk, and any other solutions, We have a national team of top doctors who we negotiate with directly - no middlemen - and who we are able to offer fast payment, clear patient histories, and no admin paperwork. They in turn offer us heavy discounts we pass on to employers.
