TL;DR: Overstand is a personal data lab for Execs. We allow business leaders validate their intuitions against their company’s data — with their just their voice, you can go from a raw idea to an evidence-backed answer. They can even see a reproducible step-by-step process and underlying data behind it — all in a few in minutes. Have a look at our launch video.\
After working with a bunch of larger companies, we learned something important: some of the most valuable questions are not the ones people plan dashboards for. They're the spontaneous ones, the realizations that you have mid-conversation... the "wait a minute…" moments.
Here’s an example that many of us have encountered at some point: let's say you're talking to a customer, and they say "you know we've really struggled to figure out how to solve X at our company. Is that something you can help us with?" They might explain why X is hard, and you'd go back and forth a little.
Then you wonder, at some point — is this just them, or have others said the same thing? Has anyone else on your 200-person GTM team heard of X before? The signal is buried across massive email threads, Gong transcripts, Slack threads, and CRM notes — there’s no way to know quickly.
So this intuition fades. Perhaps you’re able to help that customer in a one-off way, but you don’t see the broader pattern.
We built Overstand to solve for this exact gap — the crevices where data collection has traditionally failed to help you. The spurious thought that you might’ve had.
You articulate your intuition in plain language — "show me all instances of a customer indicating they're struggling with X." Overstand builds an entire data pipeline on top of your company's comms + hard data and surfaces the underlying examples that answer your questions — in just a few minutes. From there you can drill down: ask follow-ups to hone in on specific instances, chart the results over time or pull everything into a single context to discuss what was found. You can even action each result individually — sending contextually-crafted emails to each customer who mentioned X.
All of this, with just your computer or phone (and you can even do it with your voice — we call it speech-to-data-pipeline).
Most enterprise tools are built around questions you already know to ask. Overstand is built around the ones you didn't plan for.
If you're running GTM, CS, or product at a company with real customer volume and this problem sounds familiar — we'd love to talk.
