Hey YC! We're Alfredo and Ranad, the founders of Omanta.
TL;DR: Omanta creates a personalized research lab around a single patient. We integrate a patient’s complete medical record, personal genomics, and use AI to take on the most complex cancer cases. Our researchers tackled GitLab co-founder Sid Sijbrandij’s case, helping bring him into complete remission.

Why this matters
If you're a cancer patient, you'd think the hardest cases have entire teams dedicated to solving them. The reality: most doctors have about 20 minutes per patient, while the science never stops moving. New discoveries emerge every day, yet reaching standard clinical care can take over a decade (~17 years on average). Physicians make high-stakes decisions with limited time, and even the most difficult cases rarely have anyone whose full-time job is to interrogate every layer of that one patient's disease and push the newest science toward their treatment.
That's the gap we built Omanta to close.
What we do
We meet patients wherever they are in their journey. We integrate their complete medical record and personal genomics with AI and clinical evidence to understand the molecular drivers of their disease. Then we map every existing therapy against their biology, and if the right therapy doesn't exist, we build it, from cancer vaccines and immunotherapies to highly targeted radioligand therapies.
We've worked on some of the most complex cancer cases in the world. Most notably, Alfredo was the genomics lead for the personalized therapeutic campaign behind GitLab founder Sid Sijbrandij's complete remission, partnering with leading institutions to pursue personalized mRNA/DNA vaccines, CAR-T programs, drug repurposing, expanded-access therapies, and continuous molecular monitoring. We've seen what becomes possible when the full force of modern science is organized around a single person, and Omanta brings that depth of investigation to every case.
Why us
We met eight years ago working on early CRISPR cancer research and have been building toward this ever since.
