Hey everyone 👋
We're Adrian and Jorge, co-founders of Mango Medical Inc.
TL;DR: Mango Medical builds AI Agents that take CT scans and X-Rays and plan which implant sizes and approach works.
Instead of waiting for specialized planning engineering teams to turn-around a plan over multiple business days, orthopedic implant companies work with our APIs to submit the CT scan of a patient and receive a full surgical plan within seconds, starting with shoulder replacement surgeries.

👉 Ask: If you know orthopedic surgeons and orthopedic implant companies that have surgical planning needs, we'd love to partner with them to give them instant planning tools via API and give us early feedback on our upcoming planning product.
Send them to https://mangomedical.com or reach out to founders@mangomedical.io.
The Problem
30 million orthopedic surgeries are conducted every year, that all receive some form of medical imaging prior to surgery.
Roughly 10 million of those are joint replacement surgeries that receive planning over 2 - 5 business days. This limits the use of robots and 3D printed guide systems and adds time and interruptions between when a surgeon sees the patient and when the plan can be discussed with the patient.
15 million surgeries are acute fractures. Time-sensitive surgeries of high complexity, that have the same source medical imaging data, but lack the planning workflows to plan outcomes and take the cognitive load off of the surgeons.
They have to figure out how to treat their patient during the surgery, which leads to a lot of trial and error, wasted operating room time, wrong implants, complications and revision surgeries. The number 1 request from surgeons we have received was for them to be able to have patient-specific plans for these complex cases.
When surgeries become plannable instantly, it opens the door to planning multiple scenarios and giving surgeons peace of mind that they know how to face the surgery they are entering in the operating room.
**When planning can be done instantaneously, all surgeries can be planned in time.**
