Hey YC! 👋
We’re Theo and Axel, co-founders of HireGlide.
TL;DR
HireGlide screens inbound applications to immediately surface the best candidates. Soon, if the right person has not applied for the role, it will surface perfect fit matches from a pre-screened network of candidates who are looking for roles.
Ask: Can you introduce us to people who are looking for help processing excessive inbound in their hiring processes? The best way to get in touch is to fill out the form hireglide.ai/hire.

The Problem:
Companies receive hundreds of applicants per role. It is now so easy to find and apply for a job that people reading through resumes are faced with an impossible amount of inbound. The problem is so bad that recruiters at big companies like [redacted] and [redacted] admit they don’t even read the majority of applications. This means that the best candidates can fall through the cracks and it’s worse for teams without dedicated recruiters.
What we are building
HireGlide uses AI to screen inbound applications. It integrates with companies’ existing applicant tracker systems and scores applicants against criteria initially extracted from a job description but fully editable and customisable. If there is not enough information about someone in the application, then recruiters can invite them for an AI interview to plug the gaps.
With HireGlide, the previously inscrutable mound of applications becomes sortable and filterable by all manner of critera. For each candidate, HireGlide gives detailed explanations for the score, so that decision-makers are truly informed.
Sometimes, however, the right person never applied to the role they were made for. We are building out a network of candidates who are pre-screened and ready to be assessed in the same way that inbound applications are, so that the strength of a hire is no longer dependent on the distribution of the job-posting.
