The problem
Lawyers spend surprisingly little of their time doing work that requires their unique expertise.
Running a practice means finding clients, managing intake, hiring staff, handling billing, overseeing marketing, and keeping the business moving. Small firms burn lawyer hours on it; large firms hire entire teams to manage this. Either way, it kills time or margins.
The legal work itself is still built around lawyers producing everything. Lawyers spend hours turning raw information into research, analysis, and first drafts, even as AI becomes capable of producing much of that work. Existing legal software makes individual tasks faster, but leaves the underlying model unchanged.
We think that model should flip. AI should produce the first pass. Lawyers should direct, review, decide, and advocate.
How we solve it
Erinys provides the infrastructure for lawyers to operate this way from the ground up.
For lawyers starting a practice, we help launch it. For lawyers with an existing practice, we help transition it onto the same model.
Our systems run the business behind the practice while AI assists with fact development, legal research, analysis, and drafting under attorney supervision.
The result is a firm where lawyers spend more time exercising judgment and serving clients, and less time producing routine work or managing the day-to-day mechanics.
