Your editor shouldn't have to download 100GB to start cutting. Your producer shouldn't have to re-upload that same file to review it. And nobody should be Slacking “which Dropbox folder is the latest version?” at 11pm. Aspect is the single platform where footage goes from upload, to local editor timeline, to client review link, without touching a second tool. Oh, and every workspace has an AI agent that knows every face, every word, and every frame across your entire library.
Cloud storage that connects like a hard drive: Aspect mounts to your desktop like an SSD, and streams the bytes your application needs, so a 200GB R3D timeline plays back the moment you double-click it, even if your laptop only has 50GB free. Every project change syncs in real time across your team, so everyone can work on the same timeline.
Agentic search and work: For the first time, a media platform comes with an AI agent that actually understands your content. Say “collect everything from the Chicago shoot with the client’s logo, add it to a collection, and send a view-only link to the client” and it just does it.
Review and approve: Every asset your team uploads or exports to the Aspect drive is instantly reviewable. Frame-accurate commenting, markup tools, version comparison, and customizable share links are built into every file.
Use Aspect as your team’s single source of truth for media files on the cloud and locally on your desktop. Our team will copy over any files your team already has on Dropbox, Google Drive, Frameio, or any other platform for free.
1) Start by mounting a project from Aspect to your local desktop. Your project shows up as a hard drive on your computer. Open any file, no matter how large, and we will stream the bytes your computer needs to play back the video instantly. Any changes you make in a Premiere, Resolve, or Final Cut project show up for everyone else on your team in their timeline as well.
2) When you are looking for a piece of media, ask the Aspect agent to retrieve it for you. Right click on a file and open it directly in Finder:
3) When you are done with a rough or final cut, export the file back to the Aspect drive. New files sync across everyone who has the project mounted, and a preview will be generated automatically for your team to view the file on any browser:
4) Review, markup, comment, and share this file the same way you would on any platform:
And when you are done with a project or campaign, move them to archive storage with one click where your team can still view, search, and share assets.
Media teams today are forced to stitch together multiple point solutions because there wasn't a platform that could do it all. Files lived in Dropbox, reviews live in Frameio, and editors streamed from LucidLink. That’s three subscriptions, three sources of truth, none of them connected. Aspect replaces all three, built with an agent that’s like having a DIT who’s already watched every frame.
