We're Martin and Andrey from Redouble AI. We have spent our entire careers in workflow automation in highly regulated industries - and just launched the first agentic AI operating system for enterprise in Java.

❌ The Problem
Every large company’s Board wants agentic AI deployed yesterday - but the Java engineers in the enterprise who are supposed to deliver these AI solutions can’t just abandon their stack and security model and instead adopt paradigms that go against their most fundamental engineering principles. Put differently: no enterprise Java engineer will ship production AI in Python - the cultural and engineering mismatch is too deep. In mission-critical workflows, you can’t rely on system prompts as “guardrails”, you can’t rely on only having rudimentary permission control, you can’t rely on data being moved outside of your premises.
✅ The solution
That is why we developed Silverlake, a Java-native AI operating system that maps every single agentic concept and concern onto an established enterprise primitive. Think of Bitcoin: it was a new technology, it was scary, and there was absolutely no way a bank would move its deposits into Bitcoin. But then, we got Stablecoins - mapping the new technology onto the familiar primitive of the US Dollar. And now, trillions of dollars are routinely being moved in Stablecoins, and it’s part of everyday finance. We do the same thing for agentic AI, slotting it right into the enterprise comfort zone.
For example, agent identity is the existing identity layer, extended. Agent audit is the existing audit framework, extended. Same for orchestration, permissions, rate limiting, observability, fault tolerance.
With Silverlake we empower the 12 million Java engineers worldwide to develop and deploy agentic solutions for their companies in a code-first platform. They define an agent in a few lines of code, and Silverlake takes care of everything else, giving Java engineers the same granular control over their AI as they have over any other production system.

💡 Examples
Silverlake has been developed with design partners across biopharma, insurance and financial services. For example, our agentic workflows write submission-ready Clinical Study Reports that are hundreds of pages long, analyze entire datarooms full of financial and operational data for private equity investors, and automate claims processing for a large insurance player, from extracting data from a faxed form to comparing against the policy in place and doing full coverage determination, benefits explanation, etc. The possibilities are endless. And as it’s all plain Java, every new deployment organically generates expansion within the organization - one engineering team automates a workflow, the team next door jumps on board, and it scales by itself from there.
❓Why Java?
12 million Java engineers run the world's enterprise infrastructure. Python is the language of data science - rightfully so - but production agentic systems have far more in common with enterprise software than with a Jupyter notebook. Same transaction management, same permission enforcement, same deployment pipelines, same monitoring - and Java has been solving these problems for 30 years. There are great Java AI frameworks out there, but none that tackle the production infrastructure challenges - resource orchestration, deterministic security, observability at scale. That's what we built with Silverlake.

We have spent our entire careers automating complex enterprise workflows: Martin (CEO) is a Rhodes scholar, Oxford PhD, and Wharton MBA turned serial entrepreneur who previously founded and scaled a pharma workflow automation company closing millions in enterprise deals; Andrey (CTO) has developed more than 120 enterprise software and AI applications in a 25 year career across large enterprise and several startups. We are backed by Y Combinator, Exponential, Transpose Platform, Tiny VC, and the Oxford Seed Fund and advised by Java inventor James Gosling and automation guru Professor Christian Terwiesch.
