Founding Designer

As HireGlide’s Founding Designer, you’ll own the end-to-end design of a new AI-native product from day zero.
You’ll craft the visual language, interaction models, and user experience that define how recruiters and candidates interact with AI and transform complex workflows into intuitive and (hopefully) delightful systems.

This role sits at the intersection of product design, systems thinking, and creative experimentation. You’ll work closely with the founders to translate abstract ideas into tangible interfaces, prototypes, and user journeys that move the business forward.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design of the entire HireGlide product — from first sketches to polished UI
• Develop a cohesive design system that scales across recruiter dashboards, AI chat interfaces, and candidate experiences
• Translate AI capabilities (e.g. screening, interviewing, matching) into clear and trustworthy user interactions
• Collaborate closely with engineers to prototype, test, and ship design-led features fast
• Shape brand identity and visual storytelling across product, web, and marketing
• Establish design processes and standards as the team scales
• Conduct rapid user testing and research to understand recruiter and candidate behavior
