Bernard is building the AI front and back office for home and commercial appliance servicers.
They manage each repair from the first customer call through scheduling, dispatch, diagnosis, parts preparation, technician handoff, and follow-up. Bernard works across phone, text, email, warranty feeds, and existing field-service systems, carrying the job context across every surface.
We are already live in the field with some of the largest authorized service companies in the country.
Our goal is simple: make the first visit the last one.

Appliance repair is an information and inventory problem. A technician cannot simply carry washer parts. The exact appliance, model, revision, symptoms, and failure mode determine which parts might be required, and many nearly identical parts are not interchangeable.
When that information does not come together before the appointment, the first visit becomes a diagnostic visit. The technician identifies the failure, orders the part, and returns days later to complete the repair. Customers wait longer, technicians complete fewer jobs, and servicers lose capacity and margin.
When a customer reports that their washer will not drain, Bernard does more than book an appointment.
Bernard identifies the exact appliance, asks follow-up questions specific to the symptoms, and collects missing evidence from the customer. Pre-ID then combines that information with repair history, similar completed visits, manufacturer guidance, parts data, and the servicer’s own operating knowledge.
Before the visit, Bernard gives the technician a diagnosis, ranked parts, the most useful next questions, and the evidence supporting each recommendation. The office can prepare the parts, confirm they will arrive on time, and hand the technician a complete picture of the job.
Every interaction and completed repair feeds back into Bernard, turning the servicer’s daily work into shared knowledge.
Every appliance company makes a promise at the point of sale. The servicer is the person who ultimately has to keep that promise inside someone’s home or business.
That visit affects the customer, the retailer, the manufacturer, the warranty company, and the parts distributor. Yet the servicer coordinating it is often working across disconnected phone systems, inboxes, scheduling tools, parts catalogs, and knowledge held by a few experienced employees.
We believe that building the world’s most efficient appliance servicers will create happier customers and a more connected appliance ecosystem.
Bernard starts with the servicer because that is where the industry meets the physical world.
Dan Katzman previously helped build Nava Benefits' strategy and operations team, working across the product and operational infrastructure required to deliver a complicated, service-heavy experience reliably, while also leading partnerships. Before Nava, he invested at City Light Capital and Golub Capital.
David Goodfellow grew from product engineer to engineering manager at Radar Labs, where he led fraud and geo-compliance products and helped replace the incumbent provider at DraftKings and Bet365. Before that, he worked on RPA and cognitive automation at Disney, before enterprise automation was cool.
