It’s an open-source alternative to Claude Managed Agents, Langchain Managed Agents, Vercel Eve, etc.\n\n## **Problem:**\n\n---\n\nBuilding agents is hard. Many companies are building agent control planes, both for internal use and external use. The common pattern is you use some local agent framework, like claude agent sdk, mastra, langchain, or your own loop, host that on VMs/kubernetes/workers, expose an API with endpoints to interact with agents, handle machine failures, resumption of an agent, provisioning sandbox environments so those agents can code, configure endpoints to add skills and MCPs, have user message tracking, audit logs, and on and on.\n\nIt’s a lot of infrastructure work that has nothing to do with what the agent actually does. And most teams end up having to build and maintain their own versions of it.\n\nOmnara is that layer. It provides this infrastructure for you. You can then give any agent access to this machine. This allows you to spin up an EC2 instance and have your agents use that as a persistent machine, or even run it on your macbook so that cloud agents can directly edit files locally when it’s online.
