They only need to trick an authorized operator into approving one malicious transaction.\n\nOn-chain, settlement is final. There is no chargeback and no reversal. The security decision has to happen before the transaction executes.\n\nAttackers are sophisticated and see the entire institution, while existing security tools see fragments:\n\n* Hidden dependencies. Vendors, protocols, bridges and infrastructure are assessed separately or not at all.\n* Limited context. Controls check a transaction, not the institution behind it.\n* Stale controls. Rules are written once and reviews run once, while the institution and its risk keep changing.\n\n \n\n### How Verdict Machine works\n\nVerdict Machine uses AI to secure each client end to end.\n\n**Inventory.** It builds the complete inventory of a client’s on-chain environment: assets, wallets, smart contracts, users, vendors, counterparties, and transaction patterns.\n\n**Posture.** It quantifies cyber risk and recommends tailored controls to minimize exposure.\n\n**Enforce controls.** Before execution, it evaluates each proposed transaction to prevent attacks in real time.\n\nThe same live model powers every workflow:\n\n**Real time prevention.** Security and compliance teams secure their most critical transactions.\n\n**Continuous cyber diligence.** Asset managers and risk teams underwrite the cyber risk of protocols, vendors, and counterparties before and after capital is deployed.\n\n**Wallet screening.** Payments and stablecoin teams screen for fraud, unauthorized transactions, and risky wallets.\n\n### Why now\n\nInstitutions are racing to launch stablecoin and tokenized-asset products. MiCA and DORA are in force, so the people who own this risk now have to show their work. Attackers punish under-protected organizations.\n\nFireblocks and Chainalysis reached $8B valuations for digital asset custody and compliance. Cybersecurity for on-chain finance is a bigger opportunity. Every financial institution is going to use digital assets and therefore will require digital-asset cybersecurity.\n\n### Traction\n\nWe left Check Point the day before Y Combinator started.
