{"id":104853,"title":"Edviro - Buildings are wasting money daily","tagline":"Your building is wasting energy daily","body":"**TL;DR:** Edviro helps facilities managers at large buildings save on their energy bills.\n\nFacilities managers are overwhelmed with dashboards, alarms, and analytics for hundreds of boilers, HVAC units, and heat pumps across their buildings. Edviro continuously monitors and optimizes buildings using energy world models to detect anomalies, simulate interventions, and suggest the best options to the facilities manager. In particular, in busy spaces like offices, we utilise Wi-Fi access points or our own occupancy sensors to reduce HVAC usage significantly. Our tools also allow institutions to maintain detailed service histories and equipment logs and to perform maintenance with AR. To date, we've saved clients six figures in multiple buildings. We’re also piloting with a construction company to conduct baselining and M\u0026amp;V for sites they work with.\n\n**The team:**\n\nWe’re young technical founders. I’ve published at NeurIPS ‘24, conducted patent pending VR Alzheimer’s work, and founded a previous Aviation smart glasses startup that was accepted into PearX. Tanuj has been coding since he was 9, scaled a previous digital agency to $20k in revenue and previously did dev work at RTX.\n\nThis all started when I was working with my own high school’s facilities team. I saw how much waste there was and how fragmented his energy data was despite loads of smart controls and BMS systems.
