{"id":101252,"title":"dari.dev - The easiest way to deploy your agents to production","tagline":"Get a versioned, stateful API for your long-running agent in 5 minutes","body":"Point our CLI at your agent project, run `dari deploy`and get a production-ready agent API.\n\n\u003chttps://youtu.be/Y6CdktXcF24\u003e\n\n## What it is\n\n[dari.dev](http://dari.dev) turns an agent project into a **versioned, stateful API endpoint**. We’re building on top of the best open-source harnesses starting with **Pi**. Support coming soon for **Hermes** Agent. Book a call to deploy your proprietary harness.\n\n### How it works:\n\n* Drop a dari.yml + tools + skills at your repo root\n* “dari deploy .” uploads a snapshot and publishes a new version behind a stable agent URL\n* Clients open a **durable session** and stream multimodal events (text, files, images)\n* The platform runs the harness, spins up a sandbox workspace per session, and handles logs, retries, and credentials\n* New publishes create new versions. In-flight sessions stay pinned to the version they started on\n\n## The problem:\n\nIf you're building an agent right now, you're probably:\n\n* Stitching together durable execution + a sandbox provider + Postgres + a secret store yourself\n* Losing state when a turn crashes mid-execution\n* Shipping “agents” that can’t survive a 30-minute task\n* Rebuilding the same infra (auth, retries, workspace, logs) on every project\n\nMost agents break mid-task.\n\n## With [dari.dev](http://dari.dev):\n\n* **Durable sessions:** Long-running tasks survive crashes, restarts, and redeploys. Resume from the same session_id days/months/years later.\n* **Versioned deploys:** Every publish is a new version behind one stable URL. Roll forward without breaking live sessions.\n* **Bring your own sandbox:** Sandboxes run under your provider account and API key. You control limits and data. E2B today, Daytona / Blaxel / Modal coming soon.\n* **BYOK with OpenRouter / any OpenAI-compatible API endpoint:** Use your own key, pick your model, control spend, keep logs.\n* **Custom tools**: Drop Python or TypeScript tools under tools/\u0026lt;name\u0026gt;/. We run them with retry policies you define.\n\n**The API:**\n\nPublish once. Then, create a session and send messages + stream responses.\n\nWe provide full observability, session-level event logs, per-turn state, and workspace file outputs attached to the session lifecycle.\n\n## Why we built this\n\nWe started building browser automation agents and kept hitting the same missing primitive, a durable control plane underneath.\n\nWe built it for ourselves, then realized every other team shipping agents (coding, research, ops) is rebuilding the same layer.\n\nIf you’ve wired together durable execution + a sandbox provider + Postgres + a secret store just to run one agent in prod, this is for you.\n\n## Get access\n\n* App: [app.dari.dev](http://app.dari.dev), docs: [docs.dari.dev](http://docs.dari.dev)\n* Install the CLI, run `dari auth login`then publish from your repo\n* Pricing: Either you pay your providers directly (E2B + OpenRouter/OpenAI) or use our managed Anthropic/OpenAI/OpenRouter offerings. No markup from us initially.\n\nBook a call: calendly.com/avyay-dari/30min or email me at [avyay@dari.dev](mailto:avyay@dari.dev).","slug":"QL6-dari-dev-the-easiest-way-to-deploy-your-agents-to-production","created_at":"2026-05-12T22:10:48.140Z","updated_at":"2026-05-25T00:15:05.388Z","total_vote_count":4,"url":"https://www.ycombinator.com/launches/QL6-dari-dev-the-easiest-way-to-deploy-your-agents-to-production","share_image_url":"//bookface-static.ycombinator.com/assets/ycdc/yc-og-image-c440a0ad1dacfb86eeeb343717479cc54d256614449b4ef719977a0a451f8bc8.png","company":{"id":30864,"name":"dari.dev","slug":"daridev","url":"https://dari.dev","logo":"https://bookface-images.s3.amazonaws.com/small_logos/db1cb9787e09629b6ccb1639f659a5f8d0bb21b1.png","batch":"Fall 2025","industry":"B2B","tags":["Developer Tools","B2B"],"search_path":"https://bookface.ycombinator.com/company/30864"}}
