We are Paula and Joel, co-founders of Selfin.

We are building the first AI Bank. We are starting with an all in one financial platform where you can connect all your financial products: credit, investments, crypto, 401k, savings and get personalised recommendations powered by AI.
The problem ❌
Banking is painful.
Your money is scattered across different apps that don’t talk to each other, leading to bad rates, high fees, and poor financial choices. If you actually want to manage your finances properly, you end up juggling budgeting tools, spreadsheets, and hours of research.
The solution ✅
That’s why we’re building Selfin. We want to create a banking experience with full context of your personal situation. Our mission is to create personalised financial products and ultimately build the first large AI-native neobank in the US.
We’re starting with an AI-powered assistant that acts for you, using financial agents to automate everything. And we will incorporate further banking products along the way.
The team 🚀
We met each other while studying at Imperial in the UK, and after moving to the US to finish our master’s thesis at MIT & Stanford, we realised how lagging the US banking experience was compared to other places.
We couldn't stand the status quo, so we're fixing it.
