Senior / Lead ML Researcher — Visual Simulation

Interface is a frontier research lab focused on world model research. We build systems that model human and object appearance, behavior, and interaction.

Our work sits at the intersection of computer vision, graphics, and machine learning. We recently completed YC and raised a seed round from top investors. We’re a highly technical team, moving fast and working on frontier technologies.

We’re looking for a senior ML researcher/engineer to help develop our visual simulation stack: reconstructing, modeling, and animating the world.

You’d be a good fit if you:

• Have worked on neural rendering or 3D reconstruction
• Have experience with human models (faces, bodies, or avatars
• Are comfortable reasoning about 3D geometry and camera systems
• Have built systems using multi-view or unconstrained visual data
• Have experience with parametric or learned human representations
• Enjoy taking research ideas from paper to production-quality systems
• Like fast teams, technical ownership, and shaping a core technical direction

Typically 2-3 weeks start to end. Phone screen, technical interview, in-person in our New York office.
