About the role
Superset is building an open-source platform that help teams run 100s of coding agents at once.
We currently have a desktop IDE that’s loved by tens of thousands of engineers, we’re looking to scale out by building a mobile app, cloud workspaces, better code review flows, and much more
About us
- Kiet, Avi, and Satya have all run YCombinator companies before. We first worked on Superset together in a hackathon last November
- We’ve recently raised an $11m seed backed by some of the best investors out there
- Our org structure is pretty flat, we like to encourage each other to take the work we find the most exciting (no matter what it is)
- Shipping fast is our specialty
- We like to keep things light - we’re constantly bantering and joking around (sometimes too much)
- We usually work out of our office - a beautiful open floor plan in downtown SF
About you
The best folks in our opinion are Swiss army knives - whether it’s designing and building a new feature, optimizing our onboarding funnel, trying to figure out what marketing content we should try next, or hosting our next live event, you can trust them to get the job done well.
Most likely we’ll be handing you something large if you join (owning all of developer relations, our entire mobile app, etc.), so you’ll end up needing to feel comfortable engaging in more than just engineering work.
You’re probably a good fit if:
- You’ve worked at a startup before (bonus points if you’ve founded one)
- You’re using AI tools actively
- You take ownership of your work and like to make your own decisions
- You’re thoughtful and intentional when building software
- You like having a variety of work you’re responsible for
