Who you are
You're obsessed with figuring out how to grow organic communities. You grown social accounts before and you understand what drives real engagement. You run experiments, track what works, and iterate quickly. You're comfortable creating content on camera.
You know what it takes to build a community and you enjoy doing it. You're interested in ADHD and neurodiversity, and you want to help build something meaningful.
What the role is
You'll own organic growth for Indy, our free ADHD app. Your primary job is creating content and running growth experiments across TikTok and Instagram to drive app installs.
You'll create content yourself for TikTok and Instagram testing different hooks, formats, and angles. You'll manage community engagement across our social channels by commenting, responding, showing up, and keeping people engaged. This could include planning and running community events if you're comfortable with that. You'll also being doing creator outreach for partnerships and collaborations.
You'll track your metrics, report on results, and drive iteration based on what's actually working. This means you're not just posting content, you're running experiments with hypotheses, measuring outcomes, and adjusting your approach based on data. We have multiple other content creators on the team so you'll also provide content requests and briefs to the team for video content to test out hypotheses.
What that looks like:
- Running growth experiments on TikTok and Instagram
- Managing community engagement (commenting, responding, showing up in the community)
- Creating UGC-style content on camera
- Planning and running community events
- Creator outreach for partnerships
- Tracking metrics and reporting on what works
- Providing briefs to the team for additional content
This is 10-15 hours per week to start with room to expand as the role proves out.
Remote friendly for US residents. Bonus points if you are in the Bay Area.

Growing Indy will be your focus. You'll be building awareness and driving installs for a completely free product, which means your growth strategy needs to prioritize authentic community building over conversion tactics.
