About the role

We are hiring a Founding GTM Associate to execute the growth engine at Maven Bio, the market intelligence layer for life sciences AI. You will produce the content our prospects read, design the campaigns to build inbound awareness, own our marketing site, build the target lists our sales team works, and keep the data behind both clean. You work directly with the CEO, with fast feedback and a high bar.

The role fits an earlyish-career operator who knows, or can learn, biopharma, uses AI every day, and wants to move with velocity.

What You'll Do

  • Turn Maven analyses into content our ICP wants to read and share: indication landscapes, cross-trial comparisons, asset screens, conference abstract roundups, deal flow analyses, and customer stories. Each piece doubles as proof the product works.
  • Execute GTM experiments end to end: targeted campaigns, customer-specific landing pages, LinkedIn distribution plays, webinar funnels, and conference follow-up.
  • Build and enrich target account lists and buyer research for outbound.
  • Own pipeline operations: capture and route leads, keep HubSpot current, hand qualified leads to sales with context, and report which channels generate pipeline.
  • Work AI-native: use our product and agents as your default toolkit, and help define what an AI-native growth function looks like.

Ideal Candidate

  • 1-5 years of experience, or a new grad with shipped work to show.
  • Builder mindset. You ship without waiting for permission. You can point to campaigns, content, events, or experiments you launched yourself.
  • Biopharma literate. A life sciences degree, time at a pharma, biotech, CRO, healthcare agency, or biopharma media outlet, or provable fluency in how drugs get developed, approved, and sold.
  • AI-native. You use AI tools every day to move faster with high quality, and you want to help build a modern growth machine instead of copying the legacy demand-gen playbook.
  • Data-driven. Fluent in spreadsheets at minimum; SQL or Python is a plus. You expect your work to be measured on pipeline.
  • Strong writer with good taste. You write clearly for a demanding professional audience, you know the difference between useful thought leadership and marketing noise, and you will publish under your own name.
  • Startup-fit. You want ownership, pace, and a steep learning curve, with direct coaching from a founder.

What This Role Offers

  • Equity, competitive base, and an annual performance bonus tied to pipeline and execution.
  • Daily collaboration with the founders, sales, and product team. Fast decision making and fast iteration.
  • An AI-native growth function built from scratch, with real budget to execute.
  • A product with strong demo conversion and customer retention.
  • A path to owning marketing, growth ops, as the company grows.

About the interview

  • 15 minute intro call with CEO
  • 30 minute call with President
  • 60 minute in-office visit

We can move from intro call to offer in 4 days (current record)
