We are building the MCP cloud platform to get any product ready for Claude Connectors marketplace, ChatGPT App Store and any AI agent that supports MCP.
Manufact Cloud usage is more than doubling every month.

We're the team behind mcp-use SDK (next.js for MCP), the open-source framework for building MCP Apps with 10k Github stars and 8M+ downloads across python and typescript.
Used by 20% of US 500 like NASA, SAP, NVIDIA and more than 5,000 companies.

We raised $6.3M seed in 4 days before YC demo day. Our lead investor is PeakXV (best dev-tools VC out there), and we have the best angels, including the founders of Supabase.

Our focus: capture a significant share of global AI tool calls that flow through Manufact.

About the role

We're looking for a Marketing & Events Lead who owns our events presence and the marketing engine around it end-to-end. This role blends running memorable events with the storytelling and community work that turns them into pipeline. One week you're locking a venue and sponsors for a hackathon, the next you're shipping the newsletter, then writing up a customer success story that shows what teams build on Manufact. You'll run several efforts in parallel and set the pace yourself.

What you'll do

• Identify events, conferences, and hackathons worth attending or sponsoring, and secure the sponsorships and logistics to get us there.
• Plan and run high-quality events and hackathons end-to-end: scheduling, venue and location sourcing, ops, and on-the-day execution.
• Reach out to other companies to co-host and co-sponsor, and coordinate the organizational work across partners.
• Drive lead generation from events and turn our presence into measurable pipeline.
• Set up and grow our newsletter, and own ongoing engagement with the community.
• Collect and publish customer success stories that show what teams build on Manufact.
• Support the founders and team with event presence, talks, and logistics.

Requirements

• Experience planning and running events, meetups, or community programs end-to-end.
• Strong organizational skills. You can own multiple workstreams in parallel without being managed.
• Exceptional writing. You can turn a technical product and a customer win into a clear, compelling story.
• Comfortable enough with technical products (dev tools, AI infra) to explain them simply and accurately.
• Startup speed. You work fast with little process.
• Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco.
• You've used the mcp-use SDK / tried Manufact before applying.

Nice to have

• A network within the AI, MCP, or developer-tools communities.
• A track record growing social accounts, newsletters, or company brand.
• Experience marketing dev tools or technical platforms.
• Experience negotiating and contracting event sponsorships.
• Familiarity with analytics and growth tactics for content and events.
