About the role

Manicule is building AgentRel: systems that help companies become sources AI agents cite and recommend.

Reddit is increasingly where developers research products and where AI systems find honest opinions. But Reddit is not another channel to dump content into. Every community has its own norms, and people can smell marketing immediately.

I’m looking for someone who understands how to earn attention on Reddit by being genuinely useful. You understand developer tools, can participate in technical conversations, and have proof that your work drove attention, traffic, signups, or revenue.

You should also be AI-native. Use agents to research communities, find conversations, and understand what people care about—but never to produce fake engagement or slop.

What you’ll do

  • Own Reddit strategy for Manicule and our customers.
  • Find the communities and conversations that actually matter.
  • Write technically useful posts and replies people save and return to.
  • Measure referrals, signups, brand mentions, and downstream pipeline.
  • Turn what works into repeatable AI workflows.

Who we’re looking for

  • 1+ years working with Reddit, developer marketing, or technical communities.
  • Experience marketing developer tools, infrastructure, or AI products.
  • A portfolio with at least two projects showing your work and its results.
  • Strong instincts for what belongs on Reddit and what will get torn apart.

Your first 30 days

You’ll own Reddit strategy for one customer end to end: map the relevant communities, understand what people already say about them, start contributing useful posts and replies, and build a system for measuring what works.

I started in DevRel before building Manicule. I’m looking for someone who respects developer communities enough to contribute before trying to extract value from them.

About Manicule

Manicule is trying to solve a problem most people have given up on: getting AI to write well.

Everyone can get a model to produce words, but it feels so empty. Almost no one can get it to produce writing with a point of view, a logically sound structure, and a unique tone.

We want to solve these problems at scale. That means turning the judgment of strong writers into something repeatable that an AI can actually run on. Part of the work is engineering: prompts, evals, the harness around them. Part of it is editorial taste. Most of the work is experimentation, because nobody has the answers yet, and the frontier moves every few weeks.

We also think the audience for writing is changing. More and more, what we produce is read by agents as much as by people, and we're already working on catering to them.

We're small, we hire rarely, and people stay. If the idea of teaching a machine to write the way you'd want to read excites you more than it worries you, we should talk.
