About the role

Founding Account Executive

MadeThis builds AI employees that work inside a company’s existing tools, using its knowledge and workflows to get work done across sales, support, and operations.

We’re hiring our first sales rep to build the enterprise business with the founders. Enterprise demand is outgrowing the time we can give it. You’ll own the pipeline end to end and help decide which customers we pursue, what we charge, and how we sell.

The product you’ll sell

An engagement starts by identifying work a customer wants to automate. We connect MadeThis to their systems, capture how their team works, and deploy AI employees around those workflows.

The sale requires understanding a business well enough to identify a valuable first deployment, define what success looks like, and earn the customer’s confidence that we can deliver. You’ll work with the founders on technical scoping and turn those conversations into paid engagements.

What you’ll own

  • Qualify inbound interest and source accounts with a clear, valuable use case.
  • Run discovery, demos, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
  • Build the business case with the buyer: what changes, how we measure it, and why it’s worth paying for.
  • Shape pricing, packaging, and our target customer profile with the founders.
  • Bring customer objections and deployment requirements into product decisions.
  • Write the playbook every rep after you will run.

Your first 90 days

  • Days 1–30: Learn the product, join founder-led sales calls, assess the existing pipeline, and start running discovery and demos yourself.
  • Days 31–60: Own your opportunities, test outbound into a focused customer segment, and build proposals with explicit success criteria.
  • Days 61–90: Convert qualified opportunities into paid deployments where the sales cycle allows, maintain a credible forecast, and document what we’ve learned about buyers, objections, pricing, and why deals close.

Who you are

You’ve personally closed six-figure deals and can explain how you sourced or qualified them, built conviction with the buyer, and got them signed. Ideally, you’ve done this as an early sales hire while the product and positioning were still changing.

You can learn a technical product well enough to demo it independently, explain its limits, and know when to bring an engineer into the conversation.

You’re willing to prospect, keep the CRM accurate, follow up, and write the first version of the sales deck. You’d rather build the machine than inherit one.

Who you’ll build with

Our team’s experience includes founding engineering and building FDE teams at RunPod, scaling an AI consumer app to more than one million users, closing 100s of DTC brands (Dollar Shave Club, Gruns, True Classic, etc), and product management at Turing.com (one of the top data vendors for Anthropic & OpenAI)

You’ll work directly with the founders, with ownership of individual deals and a say in how we build the enterprise business.

Apply

Tell us about one deal you personally took from first conversation to signature: the buyer, the problem, the deal size, and what you did to win it. Keep it brief; anonymized details are welcome.
