About Layers.
Layers is building a new kind of diagnostic clinic - a place where you get a real read on your health (body composition, bloodwork, facial analysis, and more) in an experience that feels nothing like a doctor's office.
We run our own clinics, and we build the software that runs them: booking, intake, results, scheduling, patient records, and the internal tools our staff live in. Almost everything about how a clinic works well comes back to the product.
If you're excited about operating like a founder, building software that runs a real physical business, and shaping a high-caliber engineering culture from the start, we'd love to work with you.
In this role, you will...
- Build full-stack features (web + app) across the whole patient journey - booking, intake, results, and the internal tools that run the clinic
- Ship AI-powered workflows that turn health data into something clear and actionable for patients and staff
- Work directly with patients and clinic staff to understand their pain and shape the roadmap
- Own projects end to end, from product design to infrastructure, moving quickly and responsibly
- Lay down core architecture and help scale the platform as we open more clinics

About the interview
We keep our process simple, fast, and focused on real collaboration.
- Intro Call – 30 min with the founder (get to know us, we get to know you)
- Technical 1:1 – Walk through your experience, solve a technical problem, and understand how you think
- On-Site Work Trial (5 Days) – You’ll work with us in person. You’ll pair with the team, build something small, and get a feel for how we work day to day.
