About the role

Kinro (kinro.com) is building the AI-native insurance brokerage for America’s small businesses. Our mission is to give every small-business owner access to a great insurance broker: always available, deeply helpful, and able to move at software speed. We are looking for a highly creative, energetic, and autonomous intern to make Kinro impossible to ignore. We work together in person in San Francisco; this is not a remote opportunity.

What you’ll do

  • Create and publish a high volume of original content across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Spend time in the field with small-business owners and turn their work, stories, and challenges into great content.
  • Film, edit, and appear in videos yourself.
  • Develop humorous, educational, and behind-the-scenes formats.
  • Show how Kinro supports its customers and how we are modernizing a legacy industry with AI.
  • Generate hundreds of content ideas and rapidly turn the best ones into reality.
  • Build the public profiles of our founders through podcasts, YouTube interviews, tech media, and investor-facing opportunities.
  • Manage outreach to journalists, creators, podcast hosts, and industry operators.
  • Test constantly, learn from performance, and double down on what works.
  • Prove that even an insurance company can produce great content. If you can make general liability go viral, we definitely want to meet you.

Who we are looking for

  • Understand social media deeply and instinctively know what makes people stop scrolling.
  • Love creating, filming, writing, and experimenting.
  • Have an endless supply of ideas.
  • Are comfortable on camera and unafraid to put yourself forward.
  • Want to meet customers and create content in the real world—not from behind a desk.
  • Move fast without waiting for detailed instructions.
  • Have strong taste, high energy, and excellent judgment.
  • Can make insurance, AI, and small-business stories genuinely interesting.
  • Write and speak excellent English.
  • You do not need previous insurance experience. You need curiosity, speed, and the ability to create relentlessly.

The role

  • Internship
  • Based in San Francisco
  • In-person and field-oriented
  • Starting as soon as possible
  • Compensation will be determined based on experience, creative ability, and availability.

This is not a role where you spend three weeks preparing a content calendar. You will create, publish, learn, and improve every day. If you want to build a brand from the ground up and document one of the most ambitious transformations happening in insurance, send us your profile, examples of your work, and tease us with how you would make Kinro impossible to ignore.

About Kinro

Kinro helps companies sell insurance through AI assistants such as ChatGPT. We build AI sales agents that manage the end-to-end insurance sales process, from answering questions, personalized coverage explanations and quoting. These agents are continuously evaluated and improved through our proprietary platform, optimizing sales performance while remaining 100% compliant.

Selling insurance requires strict regulatory compliance, deep carrier integrations, and extremely reliable answers. Platforms like OpenAI and Google remain general-purpose and are less likely to build the vertical infrastructure required for regulated industries.

Today, Kinro serves brokers and direct-to-consumer carriers across the US and Europe. Insurance distribution is huge: insurers pay roughly $100B+ in commissions annually, and distributors spend $10B+ every year on advertising to acquire customers.

Pierre-Alexandre led research improving Gemini for financial services at DeepMind. Parth led infrastructure for training and inference at Zoox. Corentin was the first employee in an insurance startup and worked closely with many insurance leaders.
