About the role

We're hiring a Chief of Staff / Ops to help run the company building robot cowboys. You'll work directly with Sam (CEO) with real ownership over how GrazeMate operates day to day.

GrazeMate is onboarding customers across Australia and the US, deploying across the largest cattle ranches in the world. The work spans customer onboarding, internal coordination, and the logistics of getting drones onto stations the size of small countries. You'll have real input into how it gets done.

What you'll do

Coordinate customer onboarding across AU and US deployments
Plan and run the logistics of bringing GrazeMate to large-scale ranches, from first contact to live deployment
Coordinate the Sydney team and keep the day-to-day of the company moving
Sit in on customer, investor, and partner conversations
Travel regularly to customer sites, our research station in North Queensland, and the US
Call out Sam whenever he’s making a mistake (full-time job…)

You should have

3+ years of operations or consulting experience, ideally at a small, fast-moving team
Track record of owning broad-scope work without a playbook
Strong written communication and a high bar for follow-through
Comfortable spending time in the field with ranchers, graziers, and farmers

Based full-time in Sydney. Mandatory in-office. Travelling frequently.

About GrazeMate

GrazeMate builds autonomous drones for cattle stations.

We're replacing helicopters and motorbikes with drones that herd cattle, count herds, and monitor pasture on their own. Helicopter mustering is expensive, dangerous, and still misses cattle. Our drones launch from a dock, fly the paddock, do the work, and come home. The only pilot is our RL models.

We went through YC (W26) and raised a seed round from the best investors in the valley. Our team is small and highly technical, and we're already working with some of the largest ranches in the world.

Engineering is based in Sydney, but the work happens everywhere. Expect to write code at a desk, in a truck, and in the dirt. We work hard because our ranchers do.
