About the Role
We’re hiring a Founding Full-Stack Engineer to join our team. This role is full-time in San Francisco in the Presidio.
Gauge helps companies show up in more AI answers. With traffic shifting off of Google and into AI, the way customers are discovering and deciding has changed.
Our system delivers real-time analytics derived from millions of LLM answers, while also providing an intuitive, powerful UX. We have Slack channels with most of our customers, so you’ll immediately see feedback when you ship.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you would work on every component in our system to improve the product for customers. You will be expected to turn high-level guidance into high quality, end-to-end features, while making smart investments into the scalability of our platform.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for strong programming fundamentals, creative problem solving, and a high-agency working style. You might be a good fit if you are an ex-founder, ex-founding engineer, or have worked at a Seed/Series A startup.
Strong candidates have:
- built products from 0 → 1
- 3+ YoE in web development
- broad experience across the stack (frontend, backend, databases, queues)
- Strong product sense
- Willingness to engage directly with customers
