Credit Financing & Collection Manager

Position: Credit Financing & Collection Manager Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh (Office-based) Company: Enerjazz – YC-backed lithium-ion battery startup for e-rickshaws

Role Overview Own credit control and collections for e-rickshaw battery financing. Focus on timely recovery of EMIs/dues through phone calls and maintain accurate MIS/reports to keep portfolio healthy and cash flow strong.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle telephonic collections: outbound calls for payment reminders, follow-ups on overdue accounts, negotiations, and dispute resolution.
• Track and recover dues with high efficiency (target >90-95% collection).
• Prepare and update daily/weekly MIS: aging reports (0-30, 31-60, 61-90+ days), collection efficiency, cash collected vs. target.
• Use Excel/Google Sheets and CRM to maintain accurate records of all dues, payments, and exceptions.
• Work closely with customer support, field team, and finance to resolve issues quickly.
• Follow SOPs, educate customers on timely payments, and escalate high-risk cases.
• Monitor portfolio health and suggest ways to reduce defaults.

Requirements

• 4–7 years in collections/credit control (preferably NBFC, microfinance, vehicle financing, or fintech).
• Strong experience in phone-based collections
• Excellent with Excel (pivots, dashboards), Google Sheets, and CRM tools.
• Fluent in Hindi & English; good at firm yet empathetic communication.
• Graduate (Commerce/Finance preferred).
• Organized, target-driven, comfortable in startup pace.

Preferred

• Experience in EV, e-rickshaw, or asset financing.
• Knowledge of digital reminders, auto-debit, WhatsApp/SMS collections.
