About Educato

Educato (YC S24) is building an AI-powered learning platform for the exams that shape people’s futures. We combine personalized study plans, practice questions, mock exams, and AI tutoring to help learners prepare more effectively.

We’re looking for a resourceful, commercially minded generalist to help more learners discover Educato and become paying customers. You’ll work directly with the founders across growth, partnerships, and market expansion.

You don’t need a marketing background. You do need initiative, curiosity, and the ability to get things done.

What you’ll do

• Find and understand our customers. Talk to students, teachers, and communities to understand how people prepare for exams, what they struggle with, and what would make them choose Educato.
• Launch and improve growth experiments. Test acquisition channels, messaging, landing pages, content, referrals, and campaigns. Measure what happens and improve or stop experiments accordingly.
• Build partnerships that bring in users. Find and approach educators, creators, student organizations, and other relevant partners. Take conversations from first outreach through launch and follow-up.
• Help launch new exam markets. Research opportunities, understand competitors, test demand, coordinate launches, and turn successful experiments into repeatable ways of acquiring customers.

You’ll be hands-on. That might mean writing campaign copy in the morning, speaking with a potential partner in the afternoon, and reviewing conversion data before deciding what to try next.

What we’re looking for

• You make things happen. You don’t wait for a detailed playbook. You can show us something you started, organized, sold, or grew, even outside a formal job.
• You communicate clearly and persuasively. You can write a convincing message, ask good questions, and build relationships with people you’ve just met.
• You’re comfortable with numbers. You’re willing to work with spreadsheets and analytics, understand conversion rates and acquisition costs, and distinguish activity from results.
• You’re persistent and adaptable. You follow up, learn from unsuccessful experiments, take feedback well, and stay organized while handling several moving parts.

You do not need a business degree, startup experience, or a previous GTM title. A side project, community you built, event you organized, or small business you ran can be just as relevant.
