About the role

What we're building

Enterprise marketing still runs through agencies because launching one campaign means coordinating specialists across Marketo, HubSpot, Meta, LinkedIn, CMSs, and a dozen other systems. It takes weeks.

CharacterQuilt uses computer-use agents to do that work inside the software companies already use. A campaign that took three months can now ship in two days. We raised $13M and were one of the fastest-growing companies in YC's P26 batch.

The role

You'll build our distribution engine with me.

This is not a RevOps job. You'll write software that finds real buying signals, reaches the right people, helps us run excellent sales and marketing, and turns every play that works into a repeatable system.

What you'll do

  • Use CharacterQuilt to run enrichment, outbound, content, sales engineering, and field marketing.
  • Connect product, CRM, web, and third-party data into useful signals.
  • Build automated research, scoring, routing, and follow-up systems.
  • Instrument every play, figure out what is working, and iterate quickly.
  • Sit with customers and the sales team, then write the software that removes the bottleneck.

You might be a fit if

  • You started in software or data engineering and became obsessed with how technical products are sold.
  • You can write production code and own a commercial result.
  • You are technical, fast, curious, and genuinely like talking to customers.

Five days a week in Union Square. $150K to $200K base plus 0.2% to 1% equity. We do not sponsor US visas.

About the interview

1. A founder conversation about the best system you have built and why you want to work on revenue.

2. A technical and commercial screen using one real CharacterQuilt GTM bottleneck.

3. A deep dive on data, signals, enrichment, sales engineering, content, experimentation, and measurement.

4. A paid two-day onsite work trial on a bounded GTM system, using synthetic or public data and making no external contact.

5. References and a direct offer conversation.

We will share the purpose and rubric before every stage. The paid work trial is a mutual test of judgment, building speed, communication, and whether the system changes a real decision.

About CharacterQuilt

CharacterQuilt is building an AI workforce for enterprise marketing teams.

Humans decide what should exist and approve it. Our agents create the work, operate the customer's real software, and return proof of what happened. We want one person with judgment to be as powerful as an entire agency.

We have raised $13 million and are building a small, deeply technical team in New York City. Everyone works directly with the founder and CEO, close to customers and production. We work together five days a week in Union Square because the product, customer, and engineering loops are still extremely tight.
