BoldVoice (YC S21) is an AI English coaching app that helps non-native speakers speak clearly and confidently so they can advance their careers. Users learn pronunciation from Hollywood accent coaches and get instant feedback from our proprietary speech AI.

More than 5M people have used BoldVoice, and we've been featured in Forbes and TechCrunch. We recently raised a $21M Series A led by Matrix Partners, with Flybridge, XFund, and Y Combinator. We're a small, fast-moving team with a mission to help 1 billion people speak English clearly and advance their careers.

👩‍💻👨‍💻 Role and Responsibilities

We're looking for a Social Media Intern to help run our short-form video engine across paid and organic. You'll work directly with our CEO, ship content every week, and see exactly how your ideas perform. You don't need years of experience. What matters is what you've made.

What you’ll do:

• Come up with concepts, hooks, and scripts for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Meta ads
• Film and edit short-form videos, and appear on camera when you're up for it
• Jump on trends, formats, and sounds fast, and put a BoldVoice spin on them
• Help find, brief, and manage UGC creators, and review their submissions
• Engage with our community in comments and DMs
• Use AI tools to produce and test more variations faster
• Track what goes viral and what flops, and adjust

Who you are:

• You're a student or recent grad who already makes short-form video, for a brand, a club, or your own account
• You understand why a video hooks people in the first 3 seconds
• You edit in CapCut, Premiere, or similar
• You're organized, fast, and comfortable working on your own
• You can relate to our users. International students and non-native speakers are especially encouraged to apply.
